Discovery Holiday Parks - Adelaide Beachfront on Semaphore Beach is the perfect year round family holiday destination. Located just 16kms from central Adelaide, this park is conveniently located near the bustling centres of Port Adelaide and Semaphore. The South Australian Maritime Museum, National Railway Museum and South Australian Aviation Museum are all located in the heart of Port Adelaide, with AAMI Football Stadium less than 10 minutes away. The area offers excellent dining, shopping and guided tours.

Home to Giant Pandas, Wang-Wang and Funi, Adelaide Zoo, offers a range of daily exhibitions and the ever-popular Children's Zoo with over 120 animals to meet. Further afield, the 1000 hectare Monarto Zoo houses an array of African animals including lions, cheetahs, giraffes and the incredible American Bison.

The famous wine regions of McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley are easy day trips, with whale watching at Victor Harbour only an hour and a half away. The historic town of Handorf is home to an array of German bakeries and specialty shops plus the famous Beerenberg Farm, renowned for its range of jams and preserves.

The Lighthouse Markets

The inaugural Lighthous Markets commence on Friday 9 December then will be held every Friday night and Saturday.
Twilight Market: Friday night 6pm to 10pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm. Stalls include food, clothing, arts, craft, face painting, entertainment and more.
Where: Black Diamond Square, Port Adelaide.
Price: Free entry.

HMB Endevour

Port Adelaide will be part of the Australian National Maritime Museum's HMB Endeavour's circumnavigation of Australia.
Whilst in port the ship will become a floating musuem and open for visitors.

Easter Weekend

Come and spend the Easter weekend at Adelaide Beachfront.
Kids can enter our colouring in competition (Free entry) just ask one of our friendly office staff for details and pictures to colour in.
All pictures will be displayed in the front office when you have finished them.
Age catagories: 3-8 years - girls & boys, 8-14 years - girls & boys.
We are also having a raffle with 3 prizes, 3 tickets for $1.00.
All monies raised will go to the Starlight Foundation.
Raffle and colouring in competition will be drawn on Sunday afternoon.
